Returns Policy

 

90-Day Return Policy

We accept authorized returns within 90 calendar days from the date the product was received by the buyer or original recipient unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

All authorized returns must be unused and in their original condition, including all items and components that were included in the original package.  Items being returned must not have been disassembled, mounted, modified, or damaged due to incorrect installation or user error. Construction Parts will not be held responsible for installation or labor expenses, towing expenses, additional repair expenses, or rental expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.

If your shipment arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage the item(s) in the original shipping container and refer to our Return Procedure (below).

Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please call us immediately (253-255-1775) so we can assist you in processing a return for replacement or refund. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 90 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all such claims must be processed through the shipping company.

 NOT ALL PRODUCTS/PARTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS. 

 The following parts or products are NOT RETURNABLE for whatever reason:

  • Special order parts
  • Custom made parts
  • Parts that have been used
  • Modified Parts  

 NOTE: Electrical parts are also not returnable if they have been plugged in or unsealed for any reason.

 

Return Procedure

 In order to start a return, please call our Parts Desk at 253-255-1775.

 

Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm PST (11am to 7:30pm EST)  

 All items for return must be packaged securely. Please check if there are any special packaging instructions to ensure that no shipping damage occurs. We will not be responsible for damaged returns resulting from inadequate packaging.

 

Please provide the following information about your order:

  • Customer's name
  • Email address
  • Contact Number
  • Date of Purchase
  • Order number or PO number
  • Part number(s) of the item(s) you want to return
  • Part names
  • A complete and detailed explanations as to why the part is being returned

 

Shipping instructions will be sent through email immediately after receipt of the fully completed form. 

Please expect to be contacted by our agents in case additional information is required. 

If you do not have your order or PO number, please indicate when your order was purchased and the full name you used upon ordering.  

 

Freight Charge

We are not responsible for any return freight charges unless the return is due to a manufacturer’s defect or a direct result of an error on our part.

 

Refund Processing

Refunds are normally processed and credited within 24-48 business hours after our warehouse receives your part(s). Once the returned part(s) has/have been inspected and processed, the refund will be credited to the payment method you used to buy the item(s) you ordered.  You will receive a "credit approved" e-mail the day your refund is processed.  If the purchase was made with a debit or credit card, it may take an additional 1-7 business day(s) for your financial institution to reflect the credit back on your account.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations may be accommodated if the order has not yet been packed or shipped.

We will do our best to accommodate order cancellations, but if for any reason we are unable to do so, you may return the product. See our Return Policy for more details. You may cancel your order at any time prior to receiving our order confirmation. However, once an order has been confirmed, it is immediately processed for shipping. Therefore, no orders can be canceled after receiving our electronic Order Confirmation email. Shipping Policy

 

Shipping charges (for both original orders and returns) are non-refundable for Cutting Edges, Attachments and Special Orders.

"Business Days" for ship-out or delivery timeframes refer to Mondays through Fridays only. (Do not include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays [that fall on a weekday] when counting business days.)

Example #1: Order has a delivery timeframe of 3 to 5 business days and tracking number shows that order left our warehouse on a Monday. Begin counting from the following business day (Tuesday). Expect your package to be delivered on Thursday, Friday, or Monday of the following week.

Example #2: Order has a delivery timeframe of 3 to 5 business days and tracking number shows that order left our warehouse on a Friday. Begin counting from the following Monday, which is the next business day. You can expect your package to arrive by Friday.

We do not process or deliver packages on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

Construction Parts does not ship to PO Box, mailbox, and APO/FPO addresses. Orders placed with these types of addresses may result in delays.

 

Delivery Timeframe

Most orders are processed for shipment or leave our warehouse within 24-48 hours of your order confirmation date, unless otherwise specified. Delivery or transit times will vary depending on the size of the package and the delivery location. Small and medium-sized packages are generally delivered within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the date the packages leave our warehouse. Orders containing Carbide Parts, Attachments or Undercarriage may qualify for free shipping. However, these items require special handling and are usually shipped via truck freight where delivery or transit times may take a bit longer (see Truck Freight information below). In addition, there may be instances in which orders with multiple parts/items will have multiple tracking numbers depending on which warehouses the parts/items will be coming from. Please note that we disclaim all liability for orders that do not meet anticipated delivery dates.

 

Truck Freight

Truck freight applies to orders with large parts or items—such as Attachments, Undercarriage, Sweeper Brooms, Blades, etc.—that require special handling due to their shape, weight, or packaging. Orders with these characteristics are shipped via truck freight. Orders are usually processed for shipment within 24-48 hours of your order confirmation date, unless otherwise specified. Delivery may take up to 10-14 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) within the continental United States. Truck freight to Alaska and Hawaii may take additional delivery days and require additional charges. In the event that your order is subject to additional charges, we will contact you via telephone or email with a revised shipping quote.

 

Overnight and 2-Day Shipping

Overnight or 2-day shipping is available for most small and medium-sized packages for additional charges. The specific shipping options will be displayed at checkout after you enter a shipping address. Air freight carriers reserve the right to extend their delivery times by 24 hours when delivering to residential addresses. This is beyond our control and air freight charges will NOT be refunded. All orders must be received before 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time) Mondays to Fridays only. No overnight or 2nd-day deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Please be advised that if you place your order(s) for overnight or 2nd-day delivery on a weekend or a holiday, the processing of your order(s) will only begin on the following available business day.

 

Damaged Shipments

Upon receiving your order, inspect all shipping package(s) and items thoroughly for signs of damaged, missing, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses exert all efforts to prevent shipping damage, but it does occur on occasion. If you happen to receive a damaged part, please call us immediately to prevent you from being charged freight both ways. We are not responsible for damaged, missing, or incorrect parts after 90 business days, regardless of which party is at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims from such incidents must be reported and processed through the shipping company.

 

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are FOB shipping point. This means that risk of loss and title of any item is passed to you at the shipping point, which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport. We are not directly responsible for lost or stolen packages, but we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the shipping company. You must contact us immediately if the entire shipment was not received within two (2) full days of the carrier’s estimated delivery date. All requests must be made within thirty (30) days of the shipment date for any possibility of a claim.
